Jamie Doyle’s superpower is organizing everything around her.

That’s a perfect superpower for a post-closer, and it’s why she has fit right in as one of the newest members of the Assurance Title team. She believes that she didn’t choose the title industry. Rather, the title industry chose her.

Jamie thrives on being busy — which we are happy to oblige — and she fuels up each day on a combination of coffee, candy and chocolate. The good news is that she’s happy to share with her colleagues around the office.

We’ve had a great time getting to know Jamie. Now it’s your turn. Check out this rapid-fire Q&A …

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I didn’t have a specific job in mind, but I just always wanted to work in an office setting. It’s what my mom did, so I don’t know — working in an office, doing something.

What was your first job?
My first job was washing dishes at a deli at 14 years old. I was young, and my options were very limited.

How did you get into the title business?

I feel like it picked me. My resume was on Indeed. I got a phone call for an interview, and I thought it was a good fit. And it was. I really like it.

What energizes you the most at work?

Being busy. … And my candy and my coffee.

What’s your must-have candy?

Chocolate.

What’s a work-related accomplishment that you’re really proud of?

At my last job, I became supervisor. I was proud of that because I was able to run the crew.

Most famous person you’ve ever met?

I think that would be a wrestler. My brother was into wrestling when we were younger, and we met a wrestler named Grandmaster Sexay. It was a meet & greet at a wrestling show. I was super embarrassed and shy. He was part of tag team called Too Cool. It was Grandmaster Sexayy and Scotty 2 Hotty.

Do you have a favorite month?

Probably November because it starts the holiday season, and I love the holidays.

Favorite quote?

“You can’t help those who don’t help themselves.”

Because I don’t like putting energy into someone who isn’t going to put energy into themselves.

Do you cook? Favorite recipe?

I like making chicken pot pie. It’s pretty easy. I taught myself.

If you had a yacht, what would you name it?

I think what I’d name it isn’t appropriate to say. It’s from “Step Brothers,” so …

Best advice you were ever given?

Just keep pushing through the tough times. Never look down, just keep looking ahead.

Who would play you in a movie about your life?

I’m gonna go with Drew Barrymore. Because I think she’s pretty cool. And I think I’m pretty cool.
